We strive to create an office environment that is convenient and comfortable by offering two locations for our patients to choose from in Montgomery and Prattville, Alabama.

Scheduling

For your convenience, we have a centralized appointment scheduling system at our home office in Montgomery. This allows you to make an appointment at any of our offices. Appointments are accepted during normal office hours, except for holidays (Please see Holiday Schedule below). Our office provides the availability of same-day appointments with sick appointments given first priority. Our staff makes every effort to schedule your appointments with your preferred provider, allowing ample time at each visit for the physician to listen to you, examine your child, and review treatments plans with you.

At times, physicians may run late due to emergencies, delays at the hospital, or other circumstances out of our control. We understand that your time is valuable and will do our utmost to see your child on time. Patients who arrive late for appointments will be seen at the discretion of the physician. Calling the office to inform us that you will be late is appreciated, but does not guarantee the physician will be able to see you. You should arrive a few minutes before your appointment to allow a prompt check in.

After-Hours Weekend Care (By Appointment Only)

We understand that children don’t always get sick during regular office hours. To better support our families, our pediatric office offers after-hours care on weekends by appointment only to ensure timely access to care and continuity for our patients.
Weekend visits are designed to address routine concerns (such as follow-up care or ongoing health issues) and urgent, non-emergency medical needs when care cannot wait until regular office hours.  Walk-in visits are not available, and appointment availability is limited.

Please note:

• After-hours care is available to established patients and newborns.
• Appointments require clinical approval and must be scheduled through our office or the PHIL Line
• This service is not intended for medical emergencies.

If your child is experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
To request an after-hours weekend appointment, please contact our office and follow the instructions to reach the PHIL Line.

Holiday Schedule

Partners in Pediatrics’ offices are closed for the following holidays. 

• New Year’s Day
• Memorial Day
• Fourth of July
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day

Our office may also be closed for other occasions or for a half day around major holidays.

Missed or Late Scheduled Appointments

Courtesy appointment reminders are sent to our patients in advance. We understand there may be occasional circumstances that prevent you from keeping your scheduled appointment. If you must cancel an appointment, please call the office at least 24 hours in advance so that we can reschedule your appointment and make that time available to others. Our schedules are developed with all our patients in mind and missing an appointment could potentially prevent a sick child who needs medical service from getting a preferred appointment time.

Our policy is if you miss three (3) appointments within one (1) year, you will be dismissed. You can prevent having a no-show appointment by:

1. Calling the office at least 24 hours before your appointment when canceling or rescheduling.
2. If calling after hours, leave a detailed message at least 24 hours prior to the appointment.
3. Confirm your no-show status with front office support and reschedule if necessary.
