General Information

Partners in Pediatrics has two locations providing pediatric healthcare to the community. Our home office is located at 8160 Seaton Place in Montgomery and our satellite office is located in Prattville at 136 East Main Street in downtown Prattville.  Our nurse line, appointment line and billing/insurance information are all based in the Montgomery office, but nearly every other aspect of medical care is accessible in either office location.

We provide an after hours physician on call service to our patients. Each physician rotates call throughout each week to cover your urgent medical issues. Please respect the purpose of our on call service.  We are on call to provide medical assistance, advice and immediate care for very urgent matters.  Some examples of urgent medical matters are difficulty breathing, closed head trauma, persistent vomiting and diarrhea with signs of dehydration, cough with high fever, high fever with vomiting, high fever with lethargy, seizure, ingestion and temperature higher than 100.5 rectally in a less than two (2) month old infant.

We will help you with pressing issues and would ask that you limit your calls to important issues which must be dealt with urgently.  As you know, we are like your family. We are mothers and fathers, husbands and wives, sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, church members and community members. When the office is closed we are at home pursuing the same roles you pursue such as attending events with our children, school meetings, and dinner with our family. We attend church services and civic activities, help with homework, do dishes and laundry and change diapers too!  Thank you for your consideration with our on call service.

Hours of Operation

All appointments for the Montgomery and Prattville offices are made through our home office in Montgomery. Appointments are accepted from 8:00am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday except for holidays (See the holiday schedule). Because of the nature of our practice we ask you call to make an appointment for any need you may have.

Appointments for well child care for the newborn period for the first 18 months of life should be made as soon as possible and preferably from one visit to the next.  Sick appointments are made on an urgent basis and generally provided the same day with some appointments available for the next day through physician approval.  Appointments for chronic problems such as school difficulty, chronic headache or abdominal pain, growth concerns or behavior problems are made according to availability of extended appointment times.

We notify our patients of their appointments the day before by a courtesy phone call and appreciate your effort to cancel appointments you will not be able to keep.  We reserve the right to discharge patients who "no show" for three appointments. See no show policy.

No Show Appointments Policy

We are serious about your child’s healthcare and it shows but when you do not show it presents a problem. This may prevent a sick individual who needs medical service from getting a preferred appointment time. It also causes wasted time that can be avoided. Wasted time by the physicians, the nurses and the front office staff.

Our policy for no shows states, if you miss three (3) appointments within one (1) year you will be dismissed from the practice regardless of the reason. To prevent having a no-show appointment, you must accomplish the following:

1. Call the office at least 24 hours before your appointment when canceling or rescheduling.

2. If calling after hours, leave a detailed message at least 24 hours prior to the appointment.

3. Confirm your no-show status with the front office staff and reschedule if necessary.

As a reminder, we provide a courtesy call the day before your appointment. We sincerely hope you will abide by these policies. Please call the office if you have any questions.
