Our Immunization Philosophy
Childhood immunizations are one of the greatest advances in public health and as a result, the immunization schedule was created through many years of scientific research. For this reason, childhood immunization remains a cornerstone of pediatric care and public health. Protecting children from vaccine-preventable illness is one of the most important things we can do to ensure that your child lives a healthy and long life.
At Partners in Pediatrics, we firmly believe in the effectiveness of vaccines to prevent serious illness and to save lives. We strongly believe in the safety of vaccines and we believe all children and young adults should receive the recommended vaccines according to the guidelines provided by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Regular vaccinations help children ward off infections and are administered as one of the safest and best methods of disease prevention.
We respect the active role parents take on behalf of their child’s medical health and recognize there are genuine concerns regarding vaccinations due to small minority claims that are voiced. Delaying your child’s vaccines leaves your child vulnerable to contracting diseases that were once eradicated in the United States and it puts other children in the community at risk. Please vaccinate!
